Lounging at the beach with a delicious book or exploring a new and unfamiliar destination with my husband (and best travel partner), Nick.
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE TEACHER AND WHY?
The unforgettable Ms. Fernandez, my fourth-grade teacher, who transformed her classroom into a laboratory for creativity and discovery and taught me how to learn.
THREE THINGS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT?
A sense of humor, time in nature, and an adventurous spirit.
BIO:
Throughout her career, Olivia has worked in the education landscape as a director and educator in independent schools and consulting firms. Most recently, Olivia served as a founding member of an early-stage startup facilitating access to affordable online associate degree programs.
After receiving her B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College, Olivia served as an English fellow and teacher at The Island School for several years. Upon returning to New York, Olivia worked for three years at The IDEAL School of Manhattan where she oversaw the college, postsecondary, and high school placement programs. In 2019, Olivia joined CCS Fundraising where she delivered on-site strategic counsel to non-profit development operations and conducted feasibility studies and campaign management scopes of work.
Olivia received her M.A. in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and graduated from F&M with a BA in English and Sociology. She attended Horace Greeley High School. Olivia lives in NYC with her husband and in her downtime enjoys running, hiking, and gardening.
Olivia joined EA in 2022.
