What is the difference between a Teaching Fellow and an AT?ATs teach all subjects in elementary/lower school (PreK-4th) or middle school (5th-8th) Fellows teach within a specific content area (ex: Chemistry, English) in the high school/upper school (9th-12th) division

What can you expect from an AT/Fellow Program?Large emphasis on mentorship and professional development One to two years of valuable classroom experience (programs vary in length) Collaborate with and learn from experienced, mentor teachers Most schools employ a cohort model, so you have a group of your peers for support and camaraderie Participation in extra-curricular activities such as coaching, community service, clubs, etc. In a boarding school setting, residential life responsibilities are required Pursuit of a masters degree is often encouraged; some schools will provide stipends for graduate studies Housing can be available
