Position Title: Candidate Outreach Coordinator

Location: Virtual position (anywhere in the U.S.) 

Employment Type: Part-time (potential for full-time), estimated 15-30 hours per week

Company Overview: Educator’s Ally, a New York based independent school search firm, seeks a Candidate Sourcing Operations Assistant to support the EA Team’s recruitment and placement business connecting teachers and administrators with job opportunities at private schools throughout the country.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Candidate Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using LinkedIn Recruiter to source, attract, and hire top talent as well as superb time management and organizational skills. Strong technological, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize within a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for success in this role. Candidates for this role will want to be part of a highly productive team, be eager to learn new skills, and be willing to pitch in as needed. This is a virtual position that can be done from anywhere in the U.S. While this is a part-time role, we are open to considering candidates who are interested in a full-time position and/or the prospect of the role becoming a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Sourcing: Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networking platforms to identify and engage with potential candidates.

  • Screening and Assessment: Review profiles/ resumes and assess candidates’ qualifications for various roles.

  • Candidate Outreach: Craft personalized messages to prospective candidates to generate interest in Educator’s Ally

  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, ensuring timely follow-up with candidates.

  • Collaboration: Routinely partner with members of the Placement Team to develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on recruitment best practices to continuously improve our talent processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong emphasis on using LinkedIn Recruiter. Proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.

  • Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media recruiting tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Desired but not required: familiarity with private/independent schools and/or recruiting for schools

  • Desired but not required: familiarity with tools such as Slack, iCims ATS, Microsoft Office Suite (OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams)
